Bought shoes online for our trip up the coast. However, within the first 30 mins of wearing them they caused huge blisters on the back of both of my heels.
Nervous about going into a random store I was immediately put at easy when the girl at the counter showed compassion and help without the over the top fake customer service.
I felt she genuinely wanted to help me.
I also, in my haste, didn’t bring socks. Not only did she help me find shoes- she provided socks.
I bought the hokas and am enjoying the rest of our trip pain free!

I called ahead yesterday when I saw that they sold Hoka’s. They gave me some great info on the shoes and today I came down and got to try on multiple pairs and multiple sizes to find the right fit. This is how its supposed to be when you’re shoe shopping. I jog a lot and I’m getting older and needed more support than the major brands like Nike and Adidas provide so the fact that someone locally sold this brand was a miracle. I think we have gotten so wrapped up nowadays in our point and click, now now now, overnight shipping world that we disregard the the true advantages that small business’s have. Great customer service and knowledgeable people who care about what they are doing and trying to provide you with an exceptional experience. I went back a few hours later and grabbed my new favorite shoes! They have a huge selection for all kinds of tastes and as I said really helpful people who aren’t just trying to make money. Thanks again!
