we just spent my birthday weekend camping here this weekend.Great time, the people who work there are very nice.Camp spots are great and they have great ice cream.
Everyone in the office was nice and helped us out when we wanted to switch sites. This place is so big and there’s lots of trees, which is nice. The road within the park is a little confusing and the way the rv spots are setup are also a little confusing. The sewer connection is at a strange angle. The sites are big & the hookups worked properly. Other than being setup weird, I’m not sure the person that originally set this up ever RVed before lol. They have a little store, ice cream, the post office, cabins, a motel, cottages, rv sites, yurts, tent sites, and you’re by Hat Creek. They cater to those hiking the PCT which is also very cool. The trail goes by the campground. The exit has lots of potholes. I like that there’s trash cans and recycle bins at most of the sites. You’re in a wonderful location. Lassen Volcanic National Park is right there, Subway Lava Tubes, Burney Falls, Stand By Me bridge, and other nature trails. I’d stay here again
Our RV was right at home in a large well maintained park. Lots of family and kids activities. Easy in and out with a very useful small store for checkin. Unfortunately they don’t sell beer so bring your own. Great place to stop as you see National Parks.
Nice RV Park on the north slope of Mt
Lassen. Our campsite is on the side of Hat Creek. It’s tree shaded and quiet. This is our 5th stay here and like it a lot.
