I had the pleasure of buying a car with Hansel Subaru of Santa Rosa, and I could not be happier with not only my car buying experience, but also the kindness I was shown by the staff. Overall, I had a great experience with Hansel Subaru. The team was very helpful, easy to work with, and I really appreciated their willingness to work with me throughout the process.
I would have given them a full five-star review, but there was one issue after I brought the car home. I realized that the wheel lock key that came with the vehicle was not provided to me at the time of delivery. Unfortunately, I live about two hours away from Santa Rosa, so now I have to make another trip back just to have the wheel locks fitted and get the correct key.
It’s definitely an inconvenience, especially considering the distance, but aside from that issue, my overall experience with Hansel Subaru was very positive. I appreciate the way they treated me and worked with me, and I hope this is something they can double-check for future customers before a vehicle leaves the dealership.

We love Hansel Subaru. Tim in Service is absolutely fantastic. And Adam on the sales floor is exceptional. They’re both friendly, professional, honest, fair, helpful, informative, and personable. They go the extra mile to make the customer experience stellar. Not only do I recommend Subaru in general, but I highly recommend Hansel Subaru and these two guys in particular! Go get a car from Adam and use Tim for all of your repair needs, seriously!

The customer serve had been amazing. Right from Nick, my sales guy, through the test driving , to discussing my options of trading in my old car, to purchasing or leasing, it was the best experience I’ve ever had purchasing a new car.
And after purchasing the car, the follow up has been like nothing I have ever experienced.

Hi! I was in dire straights. A friend of
mine had accidentally set my car on fire so badly that my insurance company totaled it. I am going to college. I desperately needed reliable transportation. Hansel Subaru made getting one so easy. They actually came over an hours commute away, picked me up, and drove me to the dealership. And then they set me up with a brand new 2026 Subaru Crosstrek. As you can probably guess my budget is tight but they worked with me and got me a deal that fit in my budget and that I could afford. And it met all my other automotive needs as well! They’re the best! I highly recommend them!
