Open only on Sunday evenings, this is a It’s a great place to celebrate the end of the weekend. I usually get a to go plate which has collard greens, mac, hot potato salad, red beans and rice, some chicken and some strips of fried catfish. There’s ALWAYS great live music which ranges from a little gospel to a lot of great r&b and jazz songs. Everyone is also so friendly from the staff to the other guests enjoying the show. It’s definitely a place to go to get a great taste of Oakland’s history.

Always a great line up of Bay Area musicians and vocalist . The open mic afterwards is great . The soul food is delish on Sundays ! Also it’s a great venue for workshops , meetings and special events as well . Legendary spot that’s hosted a lot of famous people over the years !

Geoffrey’s is our go to Date night on Sundays, We love the live music and the atmosphere, the food and service are excellent, Geoffrey himself is always there making us feel comfortable and welcome, shout out to our good friend Eddie Lankford who is the sound guy!
