Stopped by on my drive around the lake on a sleepy winter weekend to start my ClearLake vacation. To start it was just me with Kendall serving up my wine tasing. Got to chat all about Nebraska and how his family ended up here making wine. What an interesting story. Kendall is a true renaissance man.
Soon a group of friends and some wine members joined us.
Had a lovely chat with everyone and got recommendations on hikes, restaurants, etc. And I got super lucky- It’s restaurant week in town!

The area is gorgeous. The tasting room is lovely especially with all of Kendall’s stained glass artwork. The outdoor patio is super welcoming and if it hadn’t been a cold/windy day sitting outside would have been awesome.

I’m told that in the summer they have Thursday night parties with food/music etc which sounds amazing. And they serve a Frose in the summer.

Can’t recommend this place more. PS- The Pinot Noir was my favorite.

Kendall, the owner of Fults Family Vineyard, was incredibly kind and welcoming, generously sharing his knowledge and passion for the vineyard. The experience had a genuine, warm family feel. He also creates exquisite stained glass pieces. The Pinot Noir and Blanc de Blancs were my favorites, both truly stood out. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Generous pours and gorgeous views! The wines were wonderful and my son especially loved the cat. We sat both indoors and outdoors and they were so accommodating and friendly. They had a massive chair out front that my 6’10” son just had to sit in and it made him look tiny! You need to check this place out!

What a wonderful experience. We came for a tasting. First, I will say that we had “generous” pours and were able to truly taste each wine. Second, the tasting even had a couple of additional wines not on the list. We bought a bottle of one of those non listed wines so it worked! Third, the co-founder spent time with us and shared and was an absolute delight to hear the story of the history of the place. What is amazing is that all this happened right before their big event for their wine club members. A day one would think would be hectic and we would expect to not get as much service or time but all was unhurried and wonderful. The deck offered a wonderful view of their property and the vines. They offer what look like some wonderful charcuterie boards that I think would be spectacular. They also have a gazebo in the hills that you can reserve for two hour blocks and they drive you to it. We enjoyed the wine and the experience was amazing.
