The only unfortunate thing about Duncan’s Mills Camping Club is that it is a members only camping club. It is one of our sister camps, so we get to go there from time to time. Our experience though was phenomenal and the staff were wonderful and very accommodating. It’s a great place to be able to visit. The small town of Duncan’s Mills is also a gem. The Blue Heron restaurant is fantastic! Again, the staff is remarkable! From the country store to the quaint shops, this place is delightful! Cape Fear restaurant is also worth the visit. I can’t wait to come back! Everyone makes you feel like you are family!
We are so happy we became members here! It is an initial fee to join then yearly dues after that. However we are guaranteed a spot with little notice. Unlike all the other local places we used to go growing up that are now overbooked for months in advance. Great campsites with full and partial hookups. Nice private spaces. The staff and members have all been exceptionally friendly and pleasant. Also, no issues with undesirable groups making noise too late. The access to the Russian river is great and one of the nicest spots on the river that leads out to the coast. Great kayaking and fishing spot!
Our son and daughter-in-law have a membership here, so we spend some time here occasionally with them. A very nice place with helpful staff, and the people that visit are also nice. The town is adorable and the ocean beach area , while rugged, is also an outstanding experience. The river is a great bonus to this facility as it is a relaxing and fun amenity. Whether bird watching or paddling a watercraft, the river experience is very special.

Great place to get out of the heat. Beautiful area, close to Bodega Bay
