Dr Pirnia performed a hip replacement surgery for my 70-year-old mom. The surgery was so successful to get my mom out of the severe pain and resulted in a speedy recovery in a few weeks. During the whole process, Dr Pirnia was very caring and patient to explain every details and answer every question my mom had. His team were super helpful too to assist my mom schedule the surgery, work with insurance company and contact oral surgeon department for her during her dental clearance process. Dr Nicholas Pirnia is great.
He has a calm demeanor and is very clear when explaining an upcoming procedure.
He listens to questions & concerns with his full attention. I never felt hurried.
He is Not a lab-coat-wearing doctor, who stands during the whole visit, flipping through a chart, barely looking at you.
We sat on “equal” chairs, facing one another for duration of consult.
As a surgeon, he duly went over the risks of (any) surgical procedure, but was very reassuring re how minimal they are.
He remained professional and relaxed on day of procedure. Which relaxed me.
I woke up with no pain and a small incision.
He was also quick to inform family members that things went smoothly and all is well.
Recovery time was quick due to quality of procedure.
Follow-up appts are reassuring.
Also: his primary assistant and general support staff are great too. They’re untangle any red-tape and answer any general questions.
It was a good experience!
