I wish there were better options. This place is sub par. At 8 15 AM, the housekeeping was making souch noise of the 3 floors that we have now been woken up for the 3rd time as I am writing this. Disturbing…and when I open the door to ask who the employee was knocking for she said NOBODY!!?????? so we got woken up for nobody? Listen, its not the worst hotel ive stayed at, but for almost $700 for 2 nights….(that is WITH a discount)- its pretty annoying that is is that $700 gets you.
The spa/hot tub has clearly been out of use for months, nothing online saying its unavailable. So we got this room thinking there would be a hot tub…Nope! Think again!

Breakfast is almost inedible…I understand that hotel breakfast isnt all that great….but the fruit in the pans looks rotten.

Honestly, the only good thing i can say is that the sheets are very soft and its a comfortable bed.

Unfortunately, our experience was highly unsatisfactory and I cannot recommend your property.

We were staying here for a dance competition and looked for a quiet space to practice. This morning, we found the “California A” meeting room completely open and vacant. There was no signage indicating that entry was restricted or that permission was required. We used the empty space respectfully (we kept the door wide open, played no loud music and did not move any furniture). Despite our respectful behavior, a man who I assume was the manager confronted us with extreme hostility and disrespect. He approached us without even saying “good morning” and simply told us, “You have to leave now. This is not a place to sit here.” “So go!! “
The way he spoke to us was extremely rude and disrespectful, especially because he said this in front of my children. I understand that there may be rules about where guests can sit, but there is a respectful and professional way to communicate that.
I told him directly that this was not the appropriate way to speak to us and that he could have approached us respectfully instead of speaking to us like that in front of my kids.
We are paying guests and basic courtesy and respect should be expected. Professional customer service should be a minimum standard, and the behavior we encountered was deeply unacceptable and disappointing.

The hotel is close to the airport, so if you’re someone who needs complete silence to sleep, this may not be ideal, aircraft begin taking off around 6 a.m. It didn’t bother me, but it might affect you. The rooms are decent and include a proper closet with doors along with the res of the standard services such as microwave, small fridge, coffee maker, large mirror, etc. The bed is comfortable enough, though the pillows are quite small, and if you move around at night, you may find your head slipping off them. The TV is an LG unit with extra HDMI and USB ports, which is always convenient for connecting your own devices. The main downside was finding ants in my second‑floor room. Parking is good, with plenty of trees providing shaded spots.

We have been Choice members for quite a while. The only reason I’m saying that is we’ve stayed in quite a few Choice Hotels. This one made a utility room into a hotel room. All night long we can hear the elevator going up and down. I find that less than acceptable. The room is nice and the staff are very nice. Maybe some of the other rooms are better.

My family stayed at the Country Inn and Suites for 5 nights in early April 2026. We were impressed with the size of the room (2 queen beds) and by the breakfast area and breakfast offerings. The room was larger than average and had multiple places to sit, which seems to be rare. The décor was a little dated but fine. The breakfast area is large and had seating for 30+ people. The hot breakfast options were great and varied each day of our stay. The pool area was clean and we enjoyed the hot tub each night. We had read reviews that stated the water wasn’t hot but it was a perfect 102° during our stay. There is a large parking area that made parking our Suburban easy. Hotel staff locks the parking area with a gate at night which is a nice security measure. The hotel is easy to access and it’s less than 10 minutes to Great America. We would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in the area, it seemed like a very good value.
