I had an outstanding experience with Gasim and his crew at Black Diamond. I came to them with no clear vision for my backyard, and Gasim had incredible attention to detail. He worked through my ideas, helped me land on a finalized plan, and even created a rendering that made everything click for me. He then walked me through different options to keep the project within my budget, and we landed on a plan we were both happy with after a great back-and-forth.

The execution was flawless. Mario, the head landscaper, and his crew finished the entire project in just 10 days, while every other quote I’d received estimated three to four weeks. The quality of work was excellent, and the team was incredibly professional, arriving at 8 a.m. and working until 6 p.m. every day, with materials always on time and no surprise changes to price or scope.

Gasim himself showed up every single day, taking photos and helping the crew course-correct whenever needed. It was clear he genuinely cared about his team too, making sure they were comfortable and taken care of throughout the project.

I’m thrilled with how the backyard turned out, and I’ve gotten so many compliments on it. That’s a direct result of the trust Gasim built with us. I’ll absolutely be calling them for future projects.

We are so lucky to have Gasim and Mario of Black Diamond Paving Company as our project manager and site leader on our frontyard&driveway project.

From the beginning, Gasim was professional, knowledgeable, and truly cared about bringing our vision to life. He patiently guided us through the design process, helped us choose the right materials and colors, and always made sure every detail was handled properly. His communication and commitment made us feel confident throughout the entire project, and he often came up with inspiring ideas and creative solutions.

Gasim also persuaded the best foreman, Mario, to take on our project despite an already packed schedule. Mario and his crew did an outstanding job with the installation. They were professional, hardworking, and respectful, and they paid great attention to detail. The quality of their craftsmanship was excellent! Not only did many neighbors stop by to give compliments, but our mailman also told us that the quality of the paving is undoubtedly the best in his entire service area.

The whole experience was amazing and the final result is incredible. Our outdoor space looks beautiful. Gasim and Mario together are a dream team! They really directed their efforts toward capturing everything we wanted in our project. And whenever unexpected challenges arose, they always tried their best to overcome the difficulties. We truly appreciate Gasim, Mario, and the entire Black Diamond team for their dedication to their work.
We highly recommend the Gasim and Mario team at Black Diamond to anyone looking for reliable professionals who deliver quality results.

Black Diamond just finished a full transformation of my backyard — demolition of the old infrastructure followed by installation of synthetic lawn, pavers, and a sitting wall — and I couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. From start to finish, Steve Turner (project manager) and Jose Dimas (foreman) took care of me every step of the way.

Steve’s approach was exceptional. He consistently made sure the project was moving in the direction I wanted, and he never hesitated to accommodate changes or help me find the best price and value for the work. It was clear that his priority wasn’t upselling or rushing — it was making sure I was genuinely happy with the outcome. He provided guidance, insight, and has a deep knowledge of this type of work and the industry – and funny to boot as well!

Jose and his crew were top‑notch. Their attention to detail is unmatched, and the craftsmanship shows in every part of the finished yard. They worked efficiently, respectfully, and with a level of pride you don’t often see anymore. I repeatedly watched as they meticulously took the time and care that went beyond expectations, and over and over again saw them do it right, rather than rushed.

If you’re looking for a team that listens, adapts, and delivers quality work with integrity, Black Diamond — especially Steve and Jose — is the way to go. I’m thrilled with the results and grateful for how smooth they made the entire process. I would recommend them to anyone!!
