The wings were good but they didn’t have any of the things I wanted to get which was a pizza and second choice the buttermilk chicken sandwich. I ended up getting the other chicken sandwich which was a dry piece of chicken breast, a piece of lettuce and a slice of cheese with light covering of ranch on the buns. Overall not impressed with my first time being here
We were really excited to try Barcelona since it’s a new spot in the neighborhood, but unfortunately the food was pretty disappointing.
We tried several different items, including the pizza and chicken, and a lot of it tasted more like basic bar food than what we were expecting from the concept. Some of the dishes had that frozen or pre-made taste, and overall the food just didn’t feel particularly fresh or memorable. The pricing itself wasn’t outrageous, but for the quality of what we received, it still didn’t feel worth it.
The one bright spot was our waitress. She was very friendly, attentive, and took great care of us throughout the evening.
The space and concept have potential, and it’s always nice to see a new restaurant open in the neighborhood. Hopefully they improve the food as they settle in, because right now it feels more like a place to grab drinks and some bar food than a restaurant I’d go back to specifically for the food.
We saw that this place had just opened and the food looked interesting so we decided to check it out.
The staff was still new so they were a bit unfamiliar with the menu, but they were clearly trying and friendly.
The food was really good. We stuck with the more Indian options, getting butter chicken fries, tandoori wings, and a grill platter.
The fries were crisp and well seasoned. The butter chicken on it was good as well. Minor bit of feedback – while each component was well seasoned, the combination of the 2 ended up a little too salty. I think for the loaded fries they might want to reduce the seasoning on the fries
The wings were really juicy, saucy, and flavorful. I think the only improvement that can be made here is if the breading was crispier to help stand up to the sauce
The grill plate was also really good. It came with tandoori shrimp and chicken and well as chicken malai. Great char on the meats, good flavor, and juicy. The mint sauce was alright, but I think a creamier sauce like a raita would have really set everything off
Overall, it was a really good experience. I think they’re still ironing out the small kinks (which is why I wanted to provide some small suggestions), but they’re off to a great start. There a lot of potential here and I can’t wait to see them firing on all cylinders
Went to the place, waited good 20 min to get someone to ask about food.
Then waitress just lost in space.
Waited for almost an hour to get simple beer.
Service? Never heard of this.
Am I coming back? Maybe in my next life.
Change the service approach, and, maybe, this place worth to visit.
A beautiful spot in Milpitas with a unique Barcelona-inspired vibe! The ambiance is stylish and inviting, the food is delicious, and the drinks are excellent. A perfect place to relax, enjoy good food, and spend a great evening with friends. Highly recommend checking this place out!
