Absolutely loved this place. The food was amazing, and every dish we tried was packed with flavor. I also really liked the atmosphere, it felt modern, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed.

The hidden speakeasy concept is such a fun and unique touch. It makes the experience feel much more memorable than just going out for dinner.

It also seems like it may be Asian-owned, and I’d love to see more businesses like this. Great food, creative ideas, and excellent execution. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending it to friends!

Today, I made a reservation and went to Cozy Pine, a speakeasy hidden inside Bacchus Bar and Bistro in Irvine.
The front looked like any ordinary bar, but when you gently push open the bookshelf in the back, a cozy cabin-like space reveals itself. You’d never imagine a place like this existed from the outside.

The interior truly made me feel like I was visiting a mountain cabin—complete with pinecones, cotton-made clouds, and wooden tables and chairs. Up on the ceiling, there were even birds and wolves wearing hats.

For drinks, I ordered a cocktail called Camp Anawanna. They torched a marshmallow right on top of the cup, infusing the drink with a wonderful smoky aroma.
Even though I only had one glass, I already felt a bit tipsy.
For food, we had the Fish & Chips, Hanger Steak Skewers, and Tacos. Every single dish was delicious.
The French fries, in particular, were perfectly seasoned and incredibly tasty. The Shrimp and Carnitas tacos were excellent as well.

Sitting in such a unique, cozy atmosphere and enjoying drinks and food in comfort put me in a great mood.
It felt as though I was the only one whisked away to a completely different world.

The vibe of the restaurant was really nice. The food was alright. The pulled pork was a bit too saucy. They were also understaffed which I felt bad.

What a great evening! Spent the first part of our evening in the speakeasy-Jenny (aka Betty) was awesome. She joined in our fun and made our speakeasy experience even better! Get the fries! Then headed in for dinner with Angelina (aka Doreen) who kept the party going and again and matched our energy, enthusiasm…and silliness. Ended the night sharing a Tequila we’d never heard of (Fortaleza) with the owner Danny. Wonderful evening…great food, great drinks-but even better people! Go! Now!

Went to Cozy Pine for date night and we enjoyed it. Really feels like you are in a different place, inside a restaurant. Decor, cocktails and food were all great. Definitively worth stopping in.
Food is mostly “snacky” compared to Bacchus outside. We did not have a reservation and we’re still able to get seated, likely because we arrived early in the evening.
