Awesome food and service! We ordered Thai 3 meat plate and Thai rib plate – both are fantastic! The meat with veggies is really flavorful and juicy with different layers, while the fantastic texture and the use of different spices take all the greasy feelings away. Definitely the best Thai barbecue I’ve had in the states.
Delicious smoked Thai-American style bbq that really ends up being the best of both worlds. I had the three meats and vegetables special. The meat was amazingly tender with deep smoke and excellent rendering. The vegetables and sauce reminded me of my trip to Bangkok. Would definitely recommend when you’re in Weed.
Wow this restaurant is exceptional – one of those places run by a true master of their craft.
The owner/chef smokes everything outside with a special mix of white oak, black oak and applewood to get the perfect flavor. There are piles of logs out by the smokers.
I got the pho with smoked meats and crab claws. Best pho I’ve ever had, smoky with just the right amount of sour and spice. Full of flavor while not heavy/oily. I’ve tried a lot of pho through California and Vietnam – never had any with smoked meats, wow have I been missing out!
My husband got the bone in short rib, and the owner was so kind to give him some smoked tri tip to try as well. Both cuts were perfectly smoky, charred and juicy, with a special house made hot sauce for the meat and rice.
11/10. Absolutely worth the visit. We were lucky to eat here at 3 pm so no wait and dishes were ready quick.
Delicious stop in Weed for BBQ. Ordered the beef short rib (pictured) and the Thai 3 meat special. Both had amazing flavor. The 3 meat special was closer to a stir fry meat medley with some vegetables. The restaurant was run by one man so I wouldn’t pick it if you need a quick stop but it’s worth the wait!
Ordered a rack of ribs ( comes with white rice ) at this restaurant & really enjoyed the ribs. Their menu is hard to read ( I am over 60 ) & the sauce for the ribs a bit salty . We paid $50 for the ribs … seems too high for Baby back pork ribs .
Nonetheless we recommend this sweet spot.
