This is a cheaply remodeled old California motor lodge. The rooms are okay, but there were no secondary security locks on the door. Anyone with a cheap RFID card maker can break in to any of the rooms.

My family and I booked this location for the 4th of July because we were looking for a place that could fit all of us. There was a total of 3 families going to my surprise when I got there. The suite with the balcony was more than suitable for our family size and needs. We did read reviews that were not favorable of the place. But the management
After talking to them, stated to give them a chance and that I would be a more than satisfied And that’s what we did now. With my honest review, I could say the only thing that was wrong was that there was a lot of mosquitoes from the beautiful water at night. They weren’t actually mosquitoes, they weren’t biting us. They were these water type that I found out just come from the waters. And then there were no kitchenware. We had a suit that had a full kitchen, and I say that would be the only thing, but otherwise our view was perfect. Everyone was nice. The rooms were very clean. Need to be a little bit updated. But otherwise, the beds were very comfortable. The a c worked, we had a two bedrooms suite that also came with two pull out sofas t vs in each room. It’s like an apartment setting which makes it very comfortable. We caught a fish!!!!!! Walking distance to bait shop , close to stores and a walk away to main park…. ohhhh and no bbq pits on the balcony lol! We also had a great view of the fire works!

Leaving a review while staying here. Some major flaws but great location for the price. First, careful when showering. They have shower curtains so expect EVERYTHING to get wet. Floor was a puddle, toilet paper soaked, towels and clothes got soaked, walls got covered in water and the puddle leaked into main area. Second, what’s the point of a smart tv with Netflix and all if I’m not able to connect to WiFi. Tried every way possible to connect and it’s clearly hotel locked. Third, blankets are supposed to be clean, why did both beds have brown stains on them? Gross. Do better please. I want my money back.

If it wasn’t for the staff I’d be rating this inn one star. The good: The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Check in and out was a breeze. The room was fairly clean, and offers free WiFi, TV, mini fridge, and microwave, good water pressure, working AC.
The bad: The lighting is fluorescent and buzzes, the rooms are cold decoration wise. I went to jail as a youth and between the people yelling and swearing behind the inn, construction workers on the balcony talking loudly with each other, and the lighting the atmosphere was comparable. The building is quite run down, shower floor was soft in spots and smelled like mold, again very noisy until about 12am.
To be fair the 2 inns next door don’t appear to be in much better shape. Would not stay here again. But if you’re looking for a room at a fair price that’s a low end runner down motel 6 maybe this place is for you.
